[She hasn't budged. Since she returned to the hotel, B-ko's locked herself in her room and crawled to the corner of her bed, burying her face in the pillow. In here, at least, she could pretend that she was safe. The sheets smelled funny and the air too cool for her to imagine that she's home, but what little comfort there is she'll take it. Right now, the world beyond that door was too frightening for her to face.

She called him earlier, much too afraid to be ashamed, but she doesn't know if he'll really come. Knees drawn tightly to her chest, she shook her head against the pillow.]

♥ B-ko
A Sheltered Imposter

→ daughter to vocal Human Rights League members who acts as their perfect child, though she possesses a forbidden interests in the Old Ones; she frequently sneaks out to learn what her parents refused to expose her to.

General Assessment: For someone who lives in a world overrun by eldritch abominations, B-ko is surprisingly sheltered. Despite this, she possesses a desire to discover what her parents had hidden from her--her strong will and curiosity has led her to various ventures in the name of knowledge. It seems that she's in a stage of teenage rebellion, to put it simply.

Lucidity
■ ■ □ □ □
For a girl of her age, she's remarkably sheltered from exposure to the Old Ones. Denial and protection through the form of amulets and spells. Her search to learn more about the terrors that the people do, however, causes her to leave such protections behind. As such, her lack of experience leaves her without much coping mechanisms. It doesn't take much to throw B-ko into a haze of panic and fear, and she still relies upon the amulets her parents have given her to get a good night's sleep and to dull the effects of madness.

Stability
■ ■ ■ □ □
Projecting the image of stability is what B-ko's about. Having moved so much in her childhood due to her parents controversial views and activism, acting the part of what she feels that people want from her is the norm for her. Her obsession with upkeeping her perfect mask leads her to have a vengeful and defensive attitude. Coupled with her sharp temper, she's quick to react to things with anger and fear. Instinct kicks in in stressful situations. For the most part, however, she is a normal girl with no 'strange' habits, though she does have a dangerous curiosity.

Normativity
■ ■ ■ ■ □
As mentioned before, B-ko is quite normal. Her mask is perfect, though in the eyes of society her status as an 'anti-Old One' supporter has led her to be more ostracized than her canon counterpart. Her need to perfect her image is also to an unhealthy degree.

[To be honest, B-ko often tried her best to hastily ditch her other "friends" in order to make it to the old schoolhouse as quickly as possible. As a result, she usually was the one to arrive early. If she was lucky (and if D-ne hadn't "accidentally" bumped into her on the way) she would have had a few precious moments alone to herself.

Lately, however, those moments had been becoming scarce. She didn't dislike C-ta. There was just something about his attitude sometimes that made her antsy. Though he wasn't as outwardly provocative as A-ya, sometimes...

She spots him again when she opens the door to the usual classroom they met at and is surprised by an unpleasant feeling in her gut. Careful not to show it, B-ko shut the door behind her and tossed her backpack onto the chair.]

You're early again.

[It's growing dark by the time B-ko descends from the library's top floor. She texted A-ya earlier, but received no reply. Ah, the guy's probably gone and wandered off somewhere around here, hasn't he? For all she knew, he could be napping in some forgotten corner. One day, she'll forget about him when she leaves. He might even become a skeleton and transform into one of those urban legends he loved so much.

But he's lucky this time, because she wants to drag him back to her dorm for a study session. B-ko scours the floor, checking behind any place he might've tucked himself in when she finds him at the table she left him at.

Fallen asleep in the middle of it, huh...

Heavy book in hand, she gently bops it on his head.]

Wake up.
